This tutorial will show you how to enable and configure the MoneyBrilliant integration. Please note that to use this integration, you will require a current MoneyBrilliant Partner account.

STEP 1: Obtain your Client ID and Client Secret from MoneyBrilliant

When you sign up for a MoneyBrilliant Partner account, you are assigned a Client ID and a Client secret. These will need to be passed through Practifi to authenticate you as a MoneyBrilliant client. To find your Client ID and Client Secret in MoneyBrilliant:

  1. Log in to https://api.moneybrilliant.com.au/login.
  2. Click Profiles and then My Details.
  3. Either keep this tab open in your browser, or copy the Client ID and Client Secret values and paste them in your Notepad or somewhere safe for use later in the process.

STEP 2: Configure data sources in Skuid

We now need to set up a connection from Practifi to the MoneyBrilliant API by configuring Skuid data sources.

STEP 7: Enabling a combined view of Asset and Liability data

We now need to ensure any Assets and Liabilities that are already in Practifi are grouped with the data now coming in from MoneyBrilliant, so we can obtain a net worth position.
