To understand the structure of the Practifi user experience and how to customise the layout of a page, you'll need to understand context, tabs and actions within Practifi itself:

  • How context describes the type of record, e.g. a client, person or interaction.
  • How tab describes the side nav menu item, e.g. basics, task or feed.
  • How action describes the mode we are in, e.g. view, edit or add.

When logged into Practifi, this information is embedded within Practifi's website URL for any page that you are on. An example is:

visualforce.com/apex/practifi?context=relationship&tab=basics&action=add&relTypeGroup=ACCTANT&clientId=0000000000001

In general, Practifi URLs hold a lot of information that orient what you see on the page. The more you delve into Settings the more you will grow comfortable with the different elements of the URL.
