Client data collection tracking
Does anyone happen to be using an information collection tracking software that has an interface for clients (perhaps with BOX on the back-end) that allows them to upload and tick-off the information we have requested from them?
An example is the way Centrelink Online provides a 'tick' when someone uploads a file to their Centrelink record.

We've been asking this from Practifi but it doesn't look like they have a solution for this as yet. It would be pretty neat if we could have a functionality that allowed us to request documents and clients can upload. There are so many platforms out there, don't know what's stopping the integration.
Agree Robert, having an effective solution on this would be a very significant productivity gain for our team. If I was aware of a stand-alone solution that interfaced with Box, we would jump at it but having asked Box, they couldn't offer any help. They gave a stock answer "We don't have this functionality at this time" even after I clarified that I wasn't asking if they could solve it, but instead if they had an integration partner that had solved it.
I spoke with a PFI rep regarding the PFI Client Portal. I was told that this may be a solution for clients to upload documents, enter KYC & suitability information and complete a Risk assessment. Has anyone begun the process of building their client portal?
I'm told that some firms have built their portal - not sure who these people are though. I also understand that the cost on a per user basis is quite high, over and above the $10k+ cost to build the portal itself.
