With Smart Component Builder, administrators can create and edit custom data tables and tiles using natural language, eliminating the need for manual JSON configuration and enabling real-time previews of components with live organizational data.

Smart Process Builder walks you through describing your process in plain English, reviewing and refining the AI-generated flowchart, and saving the result as a new process type, all without manual diagramming or technical setup. Working With AI Suggestions
The Suggestions panel provides three types of guidance to help you create better processes:
Writing Tips: Focus on improving your prompt's structure. Suggestions include:
- Using action verbs to describe each step
- Being specific about timing and dependencies
- Clarifying decision criteria for branching logic
- Identifying responsible parties explicitly
Industry Expertise: Provides wealth management-specific recommendations based on your description. Examples include:
- Regulatory requirements common to the described process
- Standard compliance checkpoints for financial services
- Best practices from similar advisory firms
- Risk management considerations
Process Recreation Prompt: Offers a professionally rewritten version of your prompt that:
- Structures information more clearly
- Uses consistent terminology
- Makes implicit details explicit
- Improves completeness and specificity

Smart Component Builder is Admin Intelligence’s AI-powered component creation tool. It allows Practifi Administrators to create and edit custom data tables and tiles using natural language, without requiring knowledge of JSON configuration syntax. As you build through conversation, a live preview panel displays your component with real data from your Practifi organization, so you can see your changes in real time before saving.
What Smart Component Builder creates:
- Data tables with configurable columns, filters, sort order, and row actions.
- Tiles displaying aggregated or summarized data from a selected object.
- Visual previews showing live organizational data as the component is built.
- JSON configurations generated automatically from plain-English descriptions.

Building custom components in Practifi traditionally required a working knowledge of JSON configuration syntax, a barrier that often led to reliance on technical resources or delays in customization. Smart Component Builder removes that barrier entirely. By describing what you want in plain English, administrators can create and refine data tables and tiles through a conversational interface, with a live preview that reflects real organizational data at every step.
The tips below will help you get the most out of Smart Component Builder and produce components that are accurate, consistent, and easy to maintain.
- Include the component type (tile or data table), the object or data source, the fields or columns to display, any filters or conditions, and desired actions in your initial description.
- Use iterative refinement by starting with a basic description and adding detail through follow-up messages rather than trying to specify everything at once.
- Use the preview panel to verify that columns appear in the correct order, filters are applied correctly, and actions work as intended before saving.
- Use the Record Variable selector in the preview panel to test how the component will behave on specific records.
- Follow a consistent naming convention, such as [Context] - [Category] - [Description] (e.g., Advisor - Tasks - Open Tasks Table), to make components easier to find and manage.
- Verify that no Lightning pages are referencing a component before deleting it, as pages referencing deleted components will display an error or empty state.
