Overview
The actions menu located at the top of Entity records is used to update the entity being viewed, whether it's a Household, Organization, or Individual record. From the drop-down options available in the actions menu, you can modify and transform the Key Entity record, keeping it aligned with the relationship as it progresses through each stage of its lifecycle. These options can vary depending on the type of entity being updated. This article outlines the location of the actions menu on a Key Entity record and the options available from it.
The Actions Menu
The actions menu appears as a pencil icon under the Key Entity's name at the top of the record. Clicking the icon opens a drop-down list of available actions.
The options available to Households, Organizations, and Individuals are broadly the same, with some differences in naming and availability. The options displayed also vary depending on whether the Key Entity has no Client Stage, is a Prospect, or is a Client.
Available Actions
The options available in the actions menu vary depending on the entity type and its current lifecycle stage. Some options are common across all entity types while others appear only at specific stages. The following table summarizes the purpose of each action.
