Overview
The Directory is your firm's central list view for records in Sentir. From a single page, you can browse clients, prospects, people, influencers, groups, and key entities organized into predefined page views that match common ways of working. Whether you need a quick look at your own book of business, a division-wide view for a team meeting, or a firm-wide export for a mailing, the Directory has a list ready to go.
This article explains how to open the Directory, switch between page views, and use filters and search to find what you need.

Accessing the Directory
To open the Directory, click the Navigation Menu and select Directory. The Directory is available in all three Sentir apps: Front Office, Back Office, and Executive.
Changing Page Views
The Directory opens to the last view you used. To switch to a different view, click the page view selector next to the current view name in the header. You'll see a search field and all available page views grouped by category.
There are many page views available. Use the Search lists... field at the top of the picker to find one by name. For example, typing "out of touch" or "mailing" will quickly filter the options.
Understanding Page View Scoping
Most page views come in three scope variants. Understanding the pattern makes it easy to pick the right one:
- My [records] — Shows records you own or are on the Servicing Team for. Use this as your day-to-day working view.
- [Records] in My Divisions — Shows records linked to any division you belong to, regardless of individual ownership. Use this to see a broader team view without going firm-wide.
- All [records] — Shows every record of that type in the organization. Use this for firm-wide reporting or when you need to find a record regardless of who owns it.
Available Page Views
Clients
Client views show Entity records with a lifecycle stage of Client. Use these to work your book of business, review activity across your division, or find recently onboarded clients.
| Page View | What It Shows | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| My Clients | Client records you own or are on the Servicing Team for. | Name, Definitions, AUM, Topics |
| Clients in My Divisions | Client records linked to any division you belong to. | Name, Definitions, AUM, Owner, Topics |
| All Clients | All records with a Client stage across the organization. | Name, Definitions, AUM, Owner, Division |
| New Clients (Last 90 Days) | Client records where the Became Client On date falls within the last 90 days. | Name, Definitions, AUM, Owner, Division |
| Out of Touch Clients | Client records currently flagged as out of touch. A record is flagged when no qualifying activity (calls, events/meetings, or emails) has been logged within your firm's configured threshold. Thresholds are set per entity type in Entity Management Settings and can vary by division. | Name, Definitions, AUM, Owner, Division |
Firm
Firm views surface internal organizational records — divisions and team members — rather than client data. Use these to look up staff or check your firm's division structure.
| Page View | What It Shows | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| All Divisions | All Division records in the organization. | Name |
| Active Team Members | All currently active Sentir users with a Salesforce or Salesforce Platform license. | Name, Email, Title, Active |
| All Team Members | All users with a Salesforce or Salesforce Platform license, including inactive users. | Name, Email, Title, Active |
Groups
Group views show records where the entity type is Group. This entity type is a collection of related entities that share a common relationship. Use these to work with group-level relationships in your book or across the firm.
| Page View | What It Shows | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| My Groups | Group records you own or are on the Servicing Team for. | Name, Definitions, Topics |
| Groups in My Divisions | Group records linked to any division you belong to. | Name, Definitions, Owner, Topics |
| All Groups | All Group records in the organization. | Name, Definitions, Owner, Division, Topics |
Influencers
Influencer views show Individual, Household, Organization, and Group records with an Influencer Segment value, typically professional contacts such as accountants, attorneys, and other referral sources. The out-of-touch threshold for influencers is configured separately from clients and prospects in Entity Management Settings.
| Page View | What It Shows | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| My Influencers | Influencer records you own or are on the Servicing Team for. | Name, Definitions, Referred AUM, Topics |
| Influencers in My Divisions | Influencer records linked to any division you belong to. | Name, Definitions, Referred AUM, Owner, Topics |
| All Influencers | All influencer records in the organization. | Name, Definitions, Referred AUM, Owner, Division |
| Out of Touch Influencers | Influencer records currently flagged as out of touch based on your firm's configured activity threshold. | Name, Definitions, Referred AUM, Owner, Division |
Key Entities
Key Entity views show your broadest relationship view — Individual, Household, Organization, and Group records — regardless of their current lifecycle stage. Use these when you need to work across your entire book rather than a specific segment.
| Page View | What It Shows | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| My Key Entities | All key entity records you own or are on the Servicing Team for, across all lifecycle stages. | Name, Definitions, Topics |
| Key Entities in My Divisions | All key entity records linked to any division you belong to. | Name, Definitions, Owner, Topics |
| All Key Entities | All key entity records in the organization. | Name, Definitions, Owner, Division, Topics |
| Out of Touch Key Entities | Key entity records currently flagged as out of touch, across all lifecycle stages and entity types. | Name, Definitions, Owner, Division, Topics |
People
People views show individual Contact records. These are the members and associated contacts linked to your key entities. Use these when you need to find or export individual people rather than the entities they belong to.
| Page View | What It Shows | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| My People | Individual contacts linked to key entities you own or are on the Servicing Team for. | Full Name, Birthdate, Primary Entity, Definitions, Phone, Preferred Phone, Email, Preferred Contact Methods, Topics |
| People in My Divisions | Individual contacts linked to key entities in any division you belong to. | Full Name, Birthdate, Primary Entity, Definitions, Phone, Preferred Phone, Email, Preferred Contact Methods, Owner, Topics |
| All People | All individual contacts linked to any Individual, Household, Organization, or Group record in the organization. | Full Name, Birthdate, Primary Entity, Definitions, Phone, Preferred Phone, Email, Preferred Contact Methods, Owner, Division, Topics |
Prospects
Prospect views show records in the Prospect lifecycle stage. Use these to manage your pipeline, track new additions, and identify relationships that have gone quiet. The out-of-touch threshold for prospects is configured separately from clients and influencers in Entity Management Settings. Note that the All Prospects view includes both active prospects and lost prospects.
| Page View | What It Shows | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| My Prospects | Prospect records you own or are on the Servicing Team for. | Name, Definitions, Potential AUM, Topics |
| Prospects in My Divisions | Prospect records linked to any division you belong to. | Name, Definitions, Potential AUM, Owner, Topics |
| All Prospects | All records in a Prospect or Lost Prospect stage across the organization. | Name, Definitions, Potential AUM, Owner, Division, Topics |
| New Prospects (Last 90 Days) | Prospect records where the Became Prospect On date falls within the last 90 days. | Name, Definitions, Potential AUM, Owner, Division, Topics |
| Out of Touch Prospects | Prospect records currently flagged as out of touch based on your firm's configured activity threshold. | Name, Definitions, Potential AUM, Owner, Division, Topics |
Mailing List
Mailing List views show the same records as their Key Entities and People counterparts, but replace relationship columns with the Mailing Label field. Use these when exporting records for physical mail or campaigns that require formatted address data. For more on working with mailing labels, see Using Mailing Labels in Sentir.
| Page View | What It Shows | Columns |
|---|---|---|
| My Key Entities (Mailing List) | Key entities you own or are on the Servicing Team for. | Name, Definitions, Mailing Label, Emails, Phones, Topics |
| Key Entities in My Divisions (Mailing List) | Key entities in any division you belong to. | Name, Definitions, Mailing Label, Emails, Phones, Topics |
| My People (Mailing List) | Individual contacts linked to key entities you own or are on the Servicing Team for. | Name, Definitions, Mailing Label |
| People in My Divisions (Mailing List) | Individual contacts linked to key entities in any division you belong to. | Name, Definitions, Mailing Label |
Filtering, Searching, and Using the Toolbar
Each Directory page view includes filter pills along the top of the page. For example, you can filter by Client Segment, Other Definitions, Division, Owner, or Last Contact Date.
Click a filter pill to open its options and narrow the list. Click the check icon to apply your changes or the X icon to cancel.
Click +[X] more to reveal additional filter options.
Click Show less to collapse them. Active filters stack, so all conditions must be met for a record to appear.
To search within the current list by name, use the search field on the right side of the filter bar. Your search term appears as a pill next to the filter pills. Click the X icon to remove your search term.
The toolbar icons to the right of the search field give you additional control over the list:
- Export (download arrow icon) — Export the current list as a CSV file.
- Switch View (grid icon) — Toggle between List and Card views.
- Settings (gear icon) — Choose which columns appear in the list (Select Fields to Display), or clear all active filters (Reset Filter Values).
- Refresh (circular arrow icon) — Reload the list to show the latest data. Active filters are preserved.
