Understanding the Sentir Navigation Menu

Overview

Apps are organized into pages to help you find the specific data you need. You'll access these pages from the main Navigation Menu, located next to the app's name. This article explains how the Navigation Menu works and shows you how to customize it.

The Home page appears in every app's Navigation Menu. The other available pages vary by app. For a breakdown of what each app includes, see Understanding Sentir Apps.

Navigation Menu Basics

The Navigation Menu displays the name of the page you're currently viewing. Click the caret on the Navigation Menu to open it and view the other pages available in the app. 

The Navigation Menu also functions like a browser tab when you've navigated away from the main page. For example, if you open a Client record from the Directory, you can click Directory to go back.

Customizing the Navigation Menu

You can add and/or reorder the items displayed in the Navigation Menu so the pages you use most are within easy reach. To add or reorder items, do the following steps:

1. Click the Navigation Menu and select Edit at the bottom.

   

2. In the Edit App Navigation Items window, click the Add More Items button to search for items by name.

   

3. Within the edit window, you can also drag and drop menu items to change their order in the navigation menu.

   

4. To undo any changes, click Reset Navigation to Default.

   

5. When you're finished making changes, click Save.
