Updating the Practifi Feature Settings Layout

Overview

As part of the Graciano release in February 2025, we updated the layout of the Practifi Feature Settings page in Salesforce Setup to include new custom metadata fields and help text for annual revenue fields, giving administrators direct visibility into the settings that govern how Practifi calculates revenue across your organization. If your Practifi organization was created before February 2025, a Practifi Administrator will need to apply these changes manually. This article outlines the steps for updating the Practifi Feature Settings page layout.

Please note: Practifi organizations created after February 2025 will automatically receive the new page layout.


Edit the Page Layout

To update the layout of the Practifi Feature Settings page:

  1. Go to Salesforce Setup by clicking the gear icon and then selecting Setup from the drop-down menu.


     
  2. In the Quick Find search, search for and click Custom Metadata Types.


     
  3. On the Custom Metadata Types page, click the hyperlinked label for Practifi Feature Settings.


     
  4. On the Practifi Feature Settings page, scroll down to the Page Layouts section and click the Edit link next to the Practifi Feature Settings Layout.


     
  5. Drag the new fields from the Practifi Feature Settings Layout palette into the Information section of the Practifi Feature Settings Sample area below. The fields should appear in this order:

    Label Protected Component
    Custom Metadata Record Name Namespace Prefix
    Store contact details as Contact Points Annual Revenue Calculation Basis
    When a contact details field is updated Annual Revenue Multiplier
    Store Contact Points Enablement Details Revenue Calculation Batch Size
    Inherit Related Division To  
    When a Record is Assigned to a Queue  



     

  6. At the top of the screen, click Save.


     

Confirm Changes

To make sure your updates were applied:

  1. In the left side panel, click Custom Metadata Types again.


     
  2. Click the Manage Records link next to Practifi Feature Settings.


     
  3. On the Practifi Feature Settings page, click the Default hyperlink.


     
  4. On the following screen, you should see the fields you just added to the page layout.
