**Note: This content is intended for system administrators and is technical in nature**
With relationships at the core of Practifi, there are a number of standard relationships in the product but additional relationships can be added and edited in your configuration of Practifi.
Everything from the nature of the relationship and where it should appear, to whether it can be a primary contact in Practifi is completely configurable.
The most common standard relationships in Practifi are:
- Accountant
- Administrator
- Beneficiary
- Compliance Manager
- Contact
- Dependant Daughter
- Dependant Son
- Director
- Employee
- Paraplanner
- Referrer
- Solicitor
- Spouse
- Team Member
To add a relationship:
- Navigate to Practifi Settings (in the settings menu accessed from the logged in user ).
- Click the Relationships tab (represented by ).
- Click the icon to add a new relationship.
- Complete the fields (required fields will appear in red).
- Click Save.
To edit a relationship:
- Navigate to Practifi Settings (in the settings menu accessed from the logged in user ).
- Click the Relationships tab (represented by ).
- Click the pencil icon to edit a relationship.
- Edit the fields (required fields will appear in red).
- Click Save.
